# Privacy policy

Draft, pending legal review. This text is not yet binding and may change.

## Who is responsible

The operator named below is responsible for this website and for the service.

Operator details are not published yet. We will not take on customers until the legal entity and address appear here.

## What we process and why

- **Contact and enquiry forms.** Your email, and anything else you choose to give us, so that we can reply. We save the first step of a form as soon as you send it.
- **The free review check.** Your answers are evaluated in your browser. If your browser runs without JavaScript, they pass through our server in the page address to show the result. We do not store them. The optional analyst check asks for your email.
- **Customer data.** Account details, the profiles you ask us to protect, case records, consent records and invoices, so that we can deliver the service.
- **Review data.** Public reviews on protected profiles, including the reviewer’s public name, so that we can assess them. We capture evidence separately and keep platform data only as long as the platform’s rules allow.
- **Measurement.** A visit counter without cookies, plus the tools listed on our cookie page, only with your consent.

## If you wrote a review

We do not contact reviewers and we do not try to identify anonymous ones. You may ask what we hold about you and you may object to its processing. We handle such requests under Articles 14 and 21 of the GDPR. Whether we act as controller or joint controller for this data is being confirmed by counsel.

## Customer records in ProofMatch

ProofMatch compares a review with records a customer supplies, using a keyed hash specific to that customer. We do not keep CRM exports. The output is a match, no match in scope, or not testable.

## Retention

We keep data for as long as the purpose requires, by source, and longer only under a legal hold. Enquiries that lead nowhere are deleted. Exact periods will be stated here before launch.

## Who else receives data

Hosting is in the EU. A list of sub-processors will be published here before launch and customers receive it with the data processing agreement. We do not sell personal data.

## Your rights

You may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction and portability, and you may object. You may also complain to your data protection authority.
